Abstract

Employee productivity is an important factor to achieve the company's expected goals. Productivity can be achieved if occupational health and safety can guarantee security in the production process. This study aims to determine the effect of occupational health and safety on work productivity of employees in the plywood production division at PT. Manunggal Indowood Investindo Probolinggo Regency. This research was conducted at PT. Manunggal Indowood Investindo Probolinggo Regency by taking a sample of 66 plywood production employees. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data were analyzed using several methods, namely Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Analysis, F test and t test using the SPSS 23.0 for windows program. The results of the research conducted can be concluded that: (1) Occupational Safety (X1) and Occupational Health (X2) variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the Work Productivity variable (Y), (2) Work Safety Variables (X1) partially have no significant effect on the variable of Work Productivity (Y), (3) The variable of Occupational Health (X2) partially has a significant effect on the variable of Work Productivity (Y), (4) The variable that has the dominant influence on the Work Productivity (Y) of the employees of the plywood production division at PT. Manunggal Indowood Investindo Probolinggo Regency is Occupational Health (X2).
