Abstract

In the development of science and technology, robotics is currently growing with the Internet network, robot technology is able to connect every robot that is connected to the robotic communication system. Wheeled robot requires a communication system and a good robot control system by means of decision making or control that is carried out on a robot. This study aims to analyze and implement data communication systems on wheeled robots. The method used is a data communication system between the client and server. Testing and monitoring data communication using wireshark software application with the aim of analyzing Quality of Service (QoS) with parameters Throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter these parameters refer to the TIPHON standard. The results of data communication research conducted indoors, the average throughput value is 37.18518519 kbps (very good), the average packet loss is 0.62% (good), delay is 28.7037037 ms (very good), jitter is 0.854444444 ms (good), average robot response 1.393703704 s (good). Data communication research conducted outdoors, the average throughput value is 35 kbps (very good), the average packet loss is 1.94% (good), delay is 41.92592593 ms (very good), jitter is 0.251851852 ms (good), average The average robot response is 1.541851852 s (good). From the results of data communication testing, the level of performance and quality of data transmission will be poor if the distance from the robot to the control system is getting further away.
