Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of hot water soaking and ZPT onion extract on the growth of variety of sugarcane seeds bululawang (Saccharum officinarum L.). this study was conducted in Bondowoso from june – august 2021. Factorial with two factors. The first factor the duration of hot water soaking with a temperature of 51o c which consists of 4 levels, namely K1 = 0 minutes (control), K2 = 15 minutes, K3 = 30 minutes and K4 = 45 minutes. The second factor was the concentration of onion extract by soaking for 15 minutes which consisted of 4 levels, namely P0 = 0%, P1 = 40%, P2= 50% and P3 = 60%. The data that has been obtained from the test results are then analyzed using the F test (Annova). If there is a significant effect, further tests are carried out using BNT at the 5% level. The result of the research on the parameters of seedling height, number of tillers, root volume, root wet weight and root dry weight. The result showed that the results did not significantly affect the single factor or interaction, but The results showed that the combination of hot water soaking and onion extract ZPT had a sidnificant effect on rod circle in the K1P2 treatment.
